New to Groupon? It is a site that works on the collective buying principal.....they get huge discounts by promising business so many customers. For example, on today's deal they "promised" The Body Shop that they could get 30 people (I am using Boise as my city) to purchase the "groupon." Once the purchasing power reaches that 30 threshold then everyone who wants to purchase it will get it. If It doesn't reach 30 then no one can get it. (You will not be charged unless the 30 threshold is met) The deal changes daily. Today's deal is a little different though because it is a national deal- you can choose to purchase it from any city (doesn't have to be one close to you) and each city has a different threshold that has to be met.
