Old Navy: Additional 30%- 50% Off Clearance + Many $6 Deals

If you are headed to the mall this weekend be sure to stop by and check out Old Navy.  They currently have baby/kids clearance an additional 30% off and adult clearance an additional 50% off. 

Besides the great deal on clearance items they have many items marked for $6 such as: beach shorts, knit dresses, women’s and kids polos and graphic t-shirts.  I was also able to find $3 "basic" t's for women.

Here is what I am was able to score tonight:

My Walmart Trip: $25.11 Worth Of Groceries For Only $1.38 (+ Tax)!

I went to Walmart yesterday looking for a center for some flowers (a craft project for my daughter's room).......I'll show you my project when it's completed. =0)  But, of course I didn't find what I was looking for but I did find some good deals. 

My Walmart is currently discounting some of their clearance an additional 50% off.  I love it when they do that!  I was able to purchase $25.11 worth of groceries for only $1.38 (+ tax)!

Here is a breakdown of my shopping trip:

(2) Bottles of Wisk (listed as 12 loads each but I never use the full amount it calls for - a great way to save $ and my clothes are just as clean!)  = $0.97 each

(1) Travel-Sized Secret Clinical Deodorant - $2.47 and I used a $3/1 coupon (received in the mail) = $0.53 overage

(2) Travel-Sized First Aid Kits - $0.97 each and I used a $1.50/2 coupon (no longer available) = $0.22 each

(1) Pair Of Fingernail Clippers - $1.53 and I used a $2 coupon (found @ Walgreen's) = $0.47 overage

(1) Suave Professionals Frizz Control - $2.74 and I used a FREE product coupon (from a promo no longer available) = FREE

My Walmart Trip: $3.99 Spent For $27.09 Worth Of Groceries

I made a trip to Walmart a few day ago with my Hunny (no kids!) and used some coupons to grab several freebies and some really great deals.

Here is a breakdown of my trip:

(1) Box of Totino's Pizza Rolls - $1.78 and used a FREE product coupon that I received awhile ago = FREE

(1) Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese - $2 and used a $1 coupon (I believe it was from the All You magazine) = $1

(2) Boxes of Finish dishwashing detergent - $2.77 each and used (2) $1.75 coupons (no longer available) = $1.02 each

(1) Nivea Body Wash - $3 and used a $3 coupon from the Sunday inserts = FREE

(2) Casade Complete dishwashing detergent trial-sized (3pk) - $0.97 each and used (2) $1 coupons from P&G coupon booklet = $0.03 overage each

(1) Package of Jello Temptations - $2.98 and used a FREE product coupon (from Kraft First Taste) = FREE

(2) Packages of Reach Floss - $0.88 each and used (2) $1 printables (no longer available) = $0.12 overage each

(2) Cans of Friskies - $0.42 each and used a FREE product coupon for 2 FREE cans = 2 FREE cans

All in all I spent only $3.99 for $27.09 worth of groceries.  I received 10 freebies and I received overage on 5 of those.

My Walgreen's Shopping Trip (4/15)

So, today is my husband's birthday and I dragged him shopping.........  He's a trooper though and didn't complain (out loud anyways).  I don't play the drug store game but I do occasionally like to shop at Walgreen's and today was a pretty fun trip.

I almost always take my coupon book with me when I shop so I can snag good deals that I might have not planned for or known about.  Case in point would be the razors, toothbrush, and Wisps that you see in the picture.  =0)

Here is a breakdown of my trip:

3 ~ G Fit Products - $5 and will mail in for a $5 rebate = FREE

10 ~ Arizona Teas - on sale for $0.50 each (in ad coupon) = $5

2 ~ 6Pk Bic Razor (bonus packs) on sale for buy 1 get 1 50% off ($2.69 and $1.34) - these ones were actually on clearance and I used 2 $2 coupons from the Sunday inserts = $0.03 for both packages

1 ~ 2Pk of Wisps (found hanging in the candy aisle) $1.29 and used $1 coupon = $0.29

7 ~ Snickers Eggs - on sale for $0.29 each and used 2 $1/2 coupons = $0.03 for all 7

4 ~ Dove Truffle Eggs - on sale for 3/$2 and used 2 $1/2 coupons = $0.67 for all 4

1 ~ Colgate 360 toothbrush - on clearance for $1.19 and used $1 coupon from Sunday inserts = $0.19

All in all I spent $12.59 ($1.38 of that was for tax) and I will send in for a $5 mail-in-rebate bringing my shopping total down to $7.59!

I headed out to Walmart today while the kids were in school and was able to score a few bargains and freebies.  I used ad matching and coupons to score $55.46 worth of groceries for only $25.95!

Safeway is having a great sale on Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks this week (especially when you combine with coupons and cats) and a great sale on frozen foods also (use the $5/$15 frozen food coupon found in the ad).

Here is a breakdown of my shopping trip yesterday:

5 Packages of Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks ~ on sale for $0.99 each used two $0.50 coupons = $3.95 + received $3 cat = $0.95 for 5 boxes

4-12 Pks. Of Diet Coke ~ on sale for B2G2 FREE + 2 FREE bags of chips + used a $1 peelie found on one of the 12pks = $12.98 for all four items

8 Pk. Of 7.5 Oz. Cans Of Diet Coke ~ $3.50 used a buy 3-12 Pks. of Diet Coke and get a FREE 8 pk (found in Albertson's Heart coupon book) = FREE

1 Danimals ~ on sale for $1.77 (with in ad coupon) and used $1/1 coupon from the Sunday ad inserts = $0.77

3 California Kitchen Pizzas ~ on sale for $5.49 and used the $5/$15 store coupon for frozen foods and 3 $1/1 Manufacturer coupons found the frozen foods coupon book at Safeway = $8.47 + received $3.75 back in cats = $4.72 for 3 pizzas

2 Oscar Meyer Deli Creations ~ on sale for $1 each and used a $1/2 coupon = $1 for 2

1 Pk. Of Sausage ~ paid full price at $3.99 ~ my husband wanted to make stuffed mushrooms and I decided to make breakfast for dinner........I try not to think about the cost of this =0)

All in all I spent $30.85 for the groceries and saved $57.69 in sales and coupons and received $6.75 back in cats.  I can't imagine paying almost $90 for this grocery trip if I was to have paid full price!

*Cat = Catalina- coupons that print out at the register and are available to use on your next purchase.  The best ones are ones that are good off any purchase.

My Walmart Trip: $17.06 Spent For $36.29 Worth Of Groceries

My local Walmart is having a huge clearance sale and everything that is on clearance is marked an additional 50% off.  Some of the food that I purchased that was on clearance was marked regular price (& then half off that price) while some was marked down and then an additional 50% off. 

I keep my coupons in a binder and I bring the binder into the store with me when I go shopping......I love it when I can combine a clearance deal with a coupon like I did with the Starkist Lunch to Go (I ended up getting it for $0.19). =0)

My Walmart Trip: $18.16 For $50.03 Worth Of Groceries

It's been awhile since I posted a shopping trip.........life and holidays have a way of interrupting. =0)  But, today was a good day for shopping (yesterday was even better when I scored 2 full bags of produce plus 2 bags of potatoes and a bag of onions for around $13 at a local store's 13 hour sale).  Anyways, I sneaked down to Walmart today while the kids were at school and ended up only spending $18.16 for $50.03 worth of groceries.

I took advantage of the after Christmas sale and saved a total of $4.13 on my purchases.  I used coupons to save an additional $18.26 and I happened to stumble across a red-tagged cart of clearanced items (marked down 50%) to save $9.40.  Last but least I ad matched an item to save $0.08.   I know $0.08 right?  I had already planned to ad match the item to another store so that I could score if for FREE with a coupon.........I didn't know that Walmart was only selling it for only $0.08 more. =0)

Here is a breakdown of my trip:

Christmas wrapping paper- $2.50 marked down to $0.62- will use it for wrapping birthday presents.

3 Baby Bottle Pops- $1/each marked down to $0.25/each- I like to surprise the kids sometimes on Friday to celebrate the end of the week.

I love when my Walmart has their clearance an extra % off!  This time I was lucky enough to get in there when it was an additional 75% off (thanks to a friend who works at my local Walmart and called me to let me know). =0)  I purchased $95.86 worth of items for only $22.67!

Many stores are going to be clearing out their shelves as they get ready for the Christmas season so keep your eyes open and your coupons handy. I also keep my Christmas list in my purse so that I have it for reference when I come across such good deals (like the Libby glasses).

Saturday Farmer's Market

We spent the morning at the Farmer's market in Moscow (about 30 minutes from where we live).  It is amazing to see all the different booths that people have and I love to support local growers and crafters.  Farmer's markets are a good way to earn a little extra money if you craft or have a green thumb.......they are also a great place to pick up a bargain.  I would encourage everyone to check out their local farmer's market.

One of our favorite booths had a bin full of these little pumpkins.  The kids have fun digging through them and picking one (ok maybe more like 9) little pumpkins to take home.  At 3 for $1, I think that this was one of our better deals.

The smells of all the yummy food cooking was too hard to ignore along with the growling noises our stomachs were making so we enjoyed some meat on a stick (everything taste better on a stick, right?)

We also bought some jalapeno cheese bread (to take home) and a bread stick (didn't make it home- ate it there). =0)  We even tried a few new food that we hadn't experienced before like Dolma (rolled grape leaves with a minted rice center and a white yogurt sauce all over it) and a garbanzo beans with rice dish. (not pictured)

Here is my latest shopping trip to Walmart. I was able to score 9 items for FREE and 5 of those gave me overage!  I didn't use any ad matching this trip but I did cash in on a couple of my FREE item coupons.

I made a quick trip to Albertsons today and used a set of "twice the value" coupons along with my manufacturer coupons.  I was able to purchase 7 items for only $1.

Here is a breakdown of my trip:

4- 16 ounce Darigold chocolate milks- on sale for $1 each- used 2- $1/2 coupons from a Sunday insert plus 2 "twice the value" coupons = 4 milks for FREE

3- Campbell's Soup At Hands- on sale for $1 each- used 1- $1/3 coupon from a Sunday insert plus 1 "twice the value" coupon = $1 for 3 soups

The "twice the value" coupons last through tomorrow (10/5) and can be found where your store keeps their ads or at the customer service desk.

My Walmart Trip......$44.89 Worth Of Groceries For $15.30

I made a trip to Walmart yesterday and took advantage of their ad matching policy and scored some great deals with coupons.  I spent only $15.30 for $44.89 worth of groceries.  I saved $29.59 just by ad matching 2 different items (Ore-Ida and Campbell's) and using coupons on everything except for 3 items!

Here is a breakdown of my trip:

10 bags of Ore-Ida hashbrowns and french fries- Reg. $2.48/each, I ad matched to Safeway's ad for $1.99/each and used 5-$3/2 coupons from the $70 Safeway coupon book = $0.49/each

I made a quick trip to Albertson's today and took advantage of their buy 10 items and get $5 off instantly.  My total before sale price and coupons was $48.64 and after the sale price and coupons my grand total was $8.94.

We went to Walmart yesterday to do a little shopping with coupons and competitor store ads in hand.  I love that Walmart ad matches.  It can save a lot of time and money.  On this shopping trip, I spent only $29.80 (that includes tax) for groceries that would have cost me $75.40 if I didn't use coupons or ad matches!

Here is what I purchased:

3 Starbucks Ice Creams $1.99/each- ad matched to Safeway's ad (normal price $2.48/each) and used 3 $1.25/1 Starbucks coupons from the Sunday paper = $0.74/each

2 Poptarts- $1.89/each and used a $1/2 coupon peelie (I will also use the codes inside the boxes towards FREE movie tickets) = $1.39/each (not the best price but I was craving raspberry ones)

2 King Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups- $1.00/each and used a $1/2 coupon found on tearpad at a convience store (this is a great place to find coupons for pop/candy) = $0.50/each

2 King Size Reese's Stix- $0.78/ each (was ringing up $1.18/each but sticker on shelf said $0.78 so that is what I got it for) and I used another $1/2 Reese's coupon = $0.28/each

Large Bag of Doritos - $2.48 and used a "buy 2 Ball Park Hot Dogs and get a FREE bag of Doritos" coupon out of the Albertson's ad = FREE

1 Chex Mix- $1.98 and used a $0.50 coupon from the Sunday paper = $1.48

2 Kellogg's Pops Mix It Cereal - $1.25/each (marked down from $1.67) and used 2 printable $0.75 coupons (coupon is now down to $0.50 and expires 8/31)= $0.50/each

6 Boxes of Cheese Nibs- $1/each and used 6 $1/1 Nabisco crackers tearpad coupon = 6 Boxes for FREE (will be donating some to my kids' school)

1 24 Pack of Diet Coke - $5.98 and used a $1/1 peelie = $4.98

24 Pack of Purex Laundry sheets $4.97 (refills were the same price but had 4 more sheet in it so that is what I went with) and used a $3/1 coupon from the Sunday paper = $1.97

1 Package of Rayovac batteries - $0.97 and used a $1/1 coupon from their website = $0.03 moneymaker

1 Box of Wheat Thins Sticks - $2.98 and used a $1/1 tearpad coupon = $1.98

$75.40 worth of groceries for only $29.80.  I was able to save $11.02 by ad matching and $34.58 with coupons.

What I got for FREE at Walmart today!

I had to make a quick trip to Walmart today with the kids but I was able to pick up a few things for FREE using coupons =0)

4- Post-its Super Sticky Notes- Used two printables and two coupons from the Sunday (8/15) coupon insert.

1- 16 pack of Always Maxi pads- used a FREE product coupon that I received in my Being Girl freebie (no longer available).

6 boxes of Cinnabon Cereal on sale for $1 each- used 2 $1 coupons from the Parade insert from the Sunday (8/15) paper and 4 $0.75 printables from HERE and HERE = $1 but I have a mail-in-rebate for $1 = 6 boxes for FREE.

1 Box of Crackerfuls- FREE product coupon from Kraft First Taste. (no longer available but you can sign up and have a chance for future offers).

What I Got For FREE At Walmart Today!

I had to do a little shopping at Walmart today so I took my coupon binder with me and I was able to get the following items for FREE using coupons:

2- 90 count Super Sticky Post It Notes $1 each and I used 2 $1/1 Post It Super Sticky Coupon (this is a PDF coupon but please don't go wild and buy a cart load =0)).

1- Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser ( 1 ounce size in the travel section) $0.97 each and I used a $1/1 for Clean and Clear products coupon (there was no size restrictions on the coupon).

2- Packages of Rayovac AAA batteries $0.97 each and I used 2 $1/1 Rayovac coupons.
