My Survey: Earn Money Or Rewards For Taking Surveys

I love doing surveys online.  It is a great and easy way to earn a little extra $, not to mention the fact there are often product testing surveys available, too. I have received all kinds of products from food, to beauty items, to household items to test and I get paid to do it!

One of the companies that I like to work with is My Survey.  You can earn points for taking surveys and then redeem those for cash or rewards once you have acquired 1,100 points ($10).  I have redeemed for a Paypal payment a few times and they seem to process fairly quick.

They will send you an email when you have a survey available or you can always check your account.  I like that they offer you so many points to take a survey and if you qualify for an extended survey they will offer you more points to take it.

In my opinion, this site doesn't pay as much per survey as some of the other sites that I work with.  But, it is dependable and they don't screen you out of surveys.  That's a plus in my book.

Suggestions for doing surveys online:

1. Make a separate email account to have survey invites sent to (that way you aren't clogging up your regular email account).

2.  Keep a log of the surveys you do to include:  survey site, survey #, amount the survey is worth, and when you cash out ~ date of expected payment.

3.  If you don't get credited correctly for a survey be sure to email them right away with all your info from your log.

4.  Check for new surveys often.  The higher value ones tend to go quickly.

5.  Sign up for more than one survey company.  I would suggest up to 5-7 survey companies if you are really into it.  This way you can have the opportunity to do surveys when there might not be any available on one of your other sites. 

6.  Only sign up for trusted and proven survey sites.  Check them out before you get invested in them.  (I will be listing more survey sites that I work with and my experience with them).

7.  Have fun with them.  If you are getting tired of answering surveys, take a break.  I like to do mine after the kids have gone to bed at night and my husband and I are watching tv.

My Personal Experience: 

I signed up a few months ago and I really like the company so far.  They send you can email when they have a survey for you.  Surveys are paid by points which you can then turn into a cash payout.  I have not cashed out yet so I don't know how fast they pay but I have done a product survey which are always fun!

Mindfield Surveys- A Great Way To Earn A Little Extra Christmas $

I have been doing surveys with Mindfield for a little while now and I really like them.  They will email you when they have a survey available so you don't have to remember to constantly check their site. The surveys are usually pretty short (around 15 minutes) and the cashout threshold is only $5.  I have even done some product testing surveys which are always fun. =0)  This is a great way to earn a little extra Christmas money.   Go HERE to sign up.

*I like to do my surveys at night in front of the TV.  I would also suggest keeping track of the surveys that you do on a notepad- it is great for reference and then you can also make sure that you are getting paid correctly.  I also wouldn't delete the email invitations until you have been paid for them.

American Consumer Survey

Here is another survey site that I like to use. American Consumer Survey is actually one of the first survey sites I signed up with when I started doing surveys. They send you invitations via email for surveys. The surveys start with a pre-screener and then if you are chosen for the survey they usually let you know right away or will email you at a later date.

Most surveys are at least $3 or more and are credited to your account within 2 weeks (normally). There is no cash-out threshold so you can request a payment whenever you have any money in your account. That is one of my favorite things about this company.  Payment is received via snail mail check but they do pay in a timely manner.  Every time you attempt a survey or actually complete one you are entered in a drawing for a pool of money. (I actually won an extra $4 once from the drawing!)

One of the survey sites that I use regularly is Surveyhead.  I kind of have a love/hate relationship with this site but I would still recommend it to anyone looking to make good money for taking surveys. You will receive a $5 bonus when you sign up and the cash out threshold is $25.

I have had issues with surveys not being credited to my account because of tech. problems and I will email them but never hear back from them.  Eventually,  my account does get credited with the surveys ( I believe that they do become aware of the tech issues and research and credit those who need to be credited- I would just like confirmation that they hear me!) They also can take a long time to pay out. I have had it take anywhere from 1 1/2 weeks to 6 weeks to get my payment after I have requested a cash out.  It can also take some time for surveys to be credited into your payout account. But if you are not in a hurry, this is a great site to earn money.  Plus, there is that pesky problem of being tossed out of surveys after you have already started them- but that happens at a lot of survey places :)

Their surveys usually pay very well.  I have had 5 minute surveys that pay $5 or more. The largest survey payout that I did was for $10 and it was actually a product test.  You can request payment either via Paypal or a gift card to such places as Amazon.com.  They will email you with survey offers and you can also visit their site to see what surveys are open.  There is usually quite a few surveys available.  I lean towards ones with a higher payout and a lower expected time of commitment.

The money that I am making now from surveys is going towards our Disneyland trip.  I am using my frugal ways to get us there without taking away from our regular paycheck :)

MINDFIELD ONLINE SURVEY PANEL

One of the ways I like to make money as a stay-at-home mom is to do online surveys.  I usually save the money to put towards our vacations or towards Christmas (every little bit helps).  There are several survey sites out there- some good and some not so good. In the next few weeks, I would like to introduce you to the sites that I work with.

One of the newest sites that I have worked with and currently is one of my favorites is Mindfield Online.  The cash out threshold is only $5- that is the lowest I have seen. Which means that you only need $5 in your account to cash out.  You can opt to have payment sent via Paypal or a standard check in the mail.  Survey invitations are sent to your email and completed surveys are credited to your account 10-14 days after the survey closes.  Some surveys can result in product testing- I have tested two different products so far- it's kind of fun :)  You can also refer others and earn $1 for each person who signs up and takes their first survey.
