My kids found this bird in his (or her) nest today nestled in one of our lilac trees. This means spring is here right? It sure has taken it's time to find our neck of the woods (even as my husband ran into snow when he was traveling yesterday). =0)
Notice the blue strings in the nest? Those came from the cover on my kids' trampoline............just shows you that anyone (or any animal) can be thrifty!

So sweet! There is a nest built on a column on my front porch. Wasn't there yesterday. I am excited to see little bird babies. Happy Spring!
