My Walmart Trip......$75.40 Worth Of Groceries For $29.80

We went to Walmart yesterday to do a little shopping with coupons and competitor store ads in hand.  I love that Walmart ad matches.  It can save a lot of time and money.  On this shopping trip, I spent only $29.80 (that includes tax) for groceries that would have cost me $75.40 if I didn't use coupons or ad matches!

Here is what I purchased:

3 Starbucks Ice Creams $1.99/each- ad matched to Safeway's ad (normal price $2.48/each) and used 3 $1.25/1 Starbucks coupons from the Sunday paper = $0.74/each

2 Bags of Pizza Rolls- $1.99/each- ad matched to Safeway's ad (normal price $2.98/each) and used 1 $0.35/1 coupon from the Sunday paper (yes I only had one coupon) = $1.99 for 1 and $1.64 for the other

  2. Thanks,
I like to have a stockpile of sweets and quick foods to go along with all the healthy food we have. Balance =0) Plus, it is nice to have extras when you know of people in need so that you can help out.
