How I Am Getting FREE Movie Tickets This Summer

OK, so we love to go to the movies but with a family of 5 it can cost about $40- $45 a movie.  And if we want to see a 3D one we are pretty much eating Top Ramen for the next week (jk).  There are a few promos out there though that will make movie going a little more fun to enjoy.  This is how I am going to the movies for FREE this summer:

Pop Tart Rewards - Sign up and buy specially marked boxes of Pop Tarts to earn prizes.  You have your choice of 2 Free boxes of Pop Tarts, 1 magazine subscription, 25 prints from Snapfish, 5 music downloads or my personal favorite a free movie ticket ($12 value).

*Limit one code per flavor. Limit five rewards per person. (or how I like to think of it 5 FREE movie tickets per account)

Must be U.S. resident 13 and older in the 50 U.S. States (& D.C.).

Last day to enter codes 9/29/11. Last day to redeem codes 9/30/11
For the movie tickets a code will be sent via email  (final date for downloading code is 10/7/2011 and certificates expire on 10/31/2011.)

RedPlum currently has a coupon for $1/2 Pop Tarts. Yeah!!!

Hershey's candy also has a promo (I love a good promo that involves chocolate)- Collect and send in four (4) UPCs from 10oz. or larger packages of HERSHEY'S KISSES Chocolates, REESE'S Peanut Butter Cup Miniatures, HERSHEY'S MINIATURES Chocolate Bars or YORK Peppermint Patties to receive one (1) Fandango Promotional Code good for one (1) movie ticket valued at up to $12.00 sent via email. Offer valid between 4/1/10 and 6/30/10. You don't need a receipt so check your cupboards and see if you have any bags already there (you know the ones that you hid from your kids and then you forgot where you hid them).

Saving on snacks at the theater (that doesn't require you to carry a big purse)- check and see what items are refillable.  At our local theater the large pop and popcorn are refillable, so when we go we get the "Super size Combo" which includes the large drink and large popcorn. We then ask for 3 of the "white bags" and fill these up with popcorn out of the large bag for the kids so that they have their own.  The kids also like the little bags because they get to add whatever kind of seasoning they want to.   Also, check with your theater about rewards cards.  They can help you save up for free movie tickets and concessions.
