Blog-o-versary Giveaway #2: Guess The Number And Win A $10 Amazon Gift Card *CLOSED*

Ok, this isn't so much of a giveaway as it's a contest but I thought that it would be fun.

One of the ways easiest ways to save money is to put all your spare change in a jar and watch it grow.  I started this jar (in the picture) as a way to help save for our trip to Disneyland (we went in December) but, we ended up not using it and instead just kept adding to it with no real goal in mind.  At least, we didn't have a goal in mind until I decided that I wanted to purchase a season pass to the local aquatic center for this summer. =0)

The kids and I recently cashed in our coins.  But, the best part is that kids don't know what we are using it for.  Our plan is to surprise them the last day of school with new beach towels and a card saying that they have a season pass to the aquatic center.

Here is where the fun comes into it for you............can you guess how much the jar was worth?  The person with the closest guess will win a $10 Amazon Gift Card.

How to enter this giveaway:

Guess the dollar amount that you think is in the jar and leave a comment with that number.  Be sure to leave your email address (ie. affordingcommoncents (@) gmail (dot) com) in your comment so that I can email you if you are the winner.  Limit of 1 guess per person.  In the case of a tie, the names will be thrown into a hat and the winner will be drawn.

This giveaway is only open to residents of the US and Canada.  Invalid entries will be deleted.  The giveaway ends at 11:59 pm PST on May 31, 2011.  The winner will have 48 hours to respond to the winning email or a new winner will be drawn.
