I have been in love with Gooseberry Patch ever since my sister introduced me to them over 10 years ago. They make the most impressive cookbooks that I have ever seen and the best part is that the recipes come from the readers. My 12 year old son, who wants to be a chef when he grows up, has requested that I leave all of my Gooseberry Patch cookbooks in my will to him. Should I be worried?
If you only own one cookbook in your entire life, I think that it should be a Gooseberry Patch cookbook. They are filled with great recipes, tips on decorating, crafts, and stories of life from the readers.
The best cookbook they currently have out (and yes I am bias because I have a recipe featured in it) is "Mom's Very Best Recipes." My recipe for faux veggie stir fry (they changed the name to Melinda's Vegetable Stir Fry) is featured on page 176. And because they published my recipe, I received a copy of the new cookbook for FREE.
Would you like to get one or your recipes published and get a FREE cookbook, too? Check out this article from Gooseberry Patch's Blog on how to make the best of your submission and how to possibly get your recipe published. After you read the article, go HERE to fill out the form and submit your recipe.
Thanks to Gooseberry Patch, one lucky Affording Common Cents reader will win their very own copy of "Mom's Very Best Recipes." The giveaway ends on May 31, 2001 at 11:59 PM PST.
